The Shoei GT-AIR 3 helmet is just as good as my GT-AIR 2, but with the advertised improvements. One aspect that is much better is the ability to mount my Cardo Edge on this helmet. I had to modify the GT-AIR 2 built in Sena mounting plate to get the Cardo base plate wires into the helmet, but the GT-AIR 3 did not require any modification. I did noticed the chin curtain is a little larger on the 3 than the 2, but the rest of the helmet fits the same.
