The new HTQ gears were designed and built with straight/helical teeth to minimise losses through friction and stress on the supports. Moreover, our gears increase ratios slightly enabling you to exploit the full power of your vehicle, thus significantly increasing its original performance potential.

Transmission gears made of special steel with straight teeth and recalculated ratio. They completely eliminate all the axial pressures, thereby reducing stress on the bearings. They are constructed using high-precision machine, casehardened, tempered and ground to provide silent running and long life.

This rear wheel axle is a result of Malossi's twenty years of experience in gear designing and production for road and racing scooters. Wheels made with special case-hardened steel, obtained with CNC hobbing machines and ground in the contact surfaces. In the contact surfaces between the gears we have obtained small pockets useful for transporting the oil to increase and guarantee lubrication between the walls that slide between them. The numbers of teeth have been calculated to give an optimized gear ratio. In all the wheels, where it was possible to make them, lightening holes were made except in the area of the contact section between the wheel and the gear selector so as not to create breaking points. With Malossi it's now possible to lengthen the gear keeping the original chain! Very new gear sets which lengthen the pitch of about 7%; they must not be confused with Power Transmission MHR system art. 6714757. This Sport version must be used only with the original chain since Malossi racing chain is narrower and it doesn't accept original or similar ring gears.
