New thrust plate for the Vespa Smallframe

At Malossi, we asked ourselves how to solve the problem and responded with a new thrust plate for the Vespa Smallframe that guarantees greater durability of the pin, better lever feeling, and increased efficiency.
Why choose the thrust plate for Vespa Smallframe
First of all, we specify that the thrust plate is an accessory that we recommend adding to our clutch for the Vespa Smallframe, even though it is perfectly compatible with the original one.
Replacing the original Vespa plate with the Malossi one means sparing the brass pin from sliding in its seat, effectively exponentially increasing its service life.
The advantages don't stop there because, with the thrust plate for the Vespa Smallframe Malossi, the clutch disengagement is smoother, and shifting is more precise and softer.
Features of the thrust plate for Vespa Smallframe
The original thrust plate is a single block, so with each clutch disengagement, the brass pin is forced to rotate in its seat, causing premature wear.
Our team has created the Malossi thrust plate with a main body, made of solid steel, in which a high-quality ball bearing is housed – robust and reliable – that ensures consistent performance even under stress.
With our plate, the brass pin of the clutch cover pushes on the pin inserted into the inner ring of the bearing, thus disengaging from the clutch rotation.
In all this, the O-ring provided with the kit plays a fundamental role: it keeps the assembly in place through friction on the appropriate seat of the clutch pressure plate.
All the magic lies in the adoption of a ball bearing, which makes the main body independent from the pin and frees the brass pin from stress, prolonging its life.
