Alpinestars is a company founded by Sante Mazzarolo in Asolo (TV) in Veneto. He started as a manufacturer of hiking shoes soon became a leader in the field of motocross boots. Today Alpinestars is one of the leading producers of motorcycle clothing, gloves, from jackets to boots.
Founded in 1963 by Sante Mazzarolo in Asolo (TV), Veneto, the company began making hiking shoes and ski boots, but soon began to produce primarily boots for motocross racing. In 1990, the company has branched out into all kinds of production and technical protective clothing ranging from gloves and jackets to leather suits for motorcycling. The company is now led by the son of Sante, Gabriele Mazzarolo. Alpinestars is now a global brand, develops technical products for races like MotoGP leather suits, boots, gloves and caps worn by World Champions such as Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner, Ben Spies and Nicky Hayden.
It also developed a line of sportswear.
