Open face helmet designed for the neediest biker, thanks to its modern and appealing design and to its innovative technical features. Evolution of the previous Nolan N40 model, the Nolan N40.5 helmet is enriched with a modernized and more sophisticated air intake. The ventilation system (AirBooster Technology) and the wide visor ensure the maximum comfort for both city use and long journeys. The N40 comes with a VPS sunscreen with UV 400 protection, fully removable and washable internal memory padding, Microlock retention system, prepared for the N-Com communication system and innovative Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). This is my 5th Nolan helmet, the first N40 vs N102 and N104 modular helmets. The fit for our oval-shaped heads is superior to many other brands. This is my first helmet since the 1970's with a sun shade/visor in addition to the integrated drop-down sun shield for those times when riding into the late-day sun are unavoidable. The fit was per typical Nolan standards. The white color should work in our hot TX summers coupled with the flow-through ventilation system.

I love my Nolan N40 helmet, so much so that I got two of them, a very functional sun visor, face shield and built in sun glasses, what more do you need? Perfect fit right out of the box
