The SAS-Tec back protection offers optimal comfort. In addition, it is thelightestprotection available in the market and it is characterised by optimal ergonomics. It has level 2 CE EN 1621-2 certificationand complies with the F.M.I. and F.I.M. regulations for Motocross, Enduro, Trial, Supermoto and Snowmobile competitions. SAS-Tec is produced by using a material that combines state-of-the-art chemistry and engineering that instantly reacts to impacts, distributing the hit over a large surface, thus reducing its effects. The SAS-Tec material – in its regular state – issoft; when it is untreated, but when it is hit, its atoms join firmly in order to dissipate the energy and then return to their initial state. Thanks to this feature, the protection that is provided is similar to the one offered by traditional Fabric, whereas thelightness,comfortandversatilityoffered cannot be compared with the solutions that are regularly used. The only limit for the field of application of this technology is imagination.
