MACNA ULTIMAX 2.0 LAMINATED JACKET

The Macna Ultimax 2.0 is an all-season adventure touring jacket designed for all driving conditions. The Raintex waterproof membrane is laminated directly, which prevents the outer layer from absorbing water and becoming soaked and cold, and the thermal liner is detachable. Directly laminated garments also dry much faster than other waterproofing methods.

This jacket features a double front zipper, with both zippers slightly off-centre and positioned one behind the other, creating a zig-zag construction with the waterproof flap for added waterproofness.

There is also an unfoldable hood that is worn under the helmet and allows you to create a completely waterproof connection between the helmet and the jacket. The rain hood prevents water from entering the jacket through the collar.

The Ultimax 2.0 is also equipped with two waterproof Aqua Stop ventilation hinges in the front, an air intake in the back and a connecting zipper in the back to connect it to the pants (Ultimax).

The reflections are present on the sides in the form of discreet Side Eye™ accents. Critical areas are reinforced with synthetic nubuck, a leather fabric often used to reinforce the palms of gloves.

This jacket is equipped with our Easy Cuff™, a system that uses a zipper, instead of rings and snaps, to keep everything in place. This ingenious feature connects the detachable layers together and prevents the hand, wrist or watch from getting stuck when you put on or take off your jacket.

A series of rings called Electric Power Guide™ is present inside the jacket. This allows you to run the power cords through the sleeves with full freedom of movement and without clutter to the wrists.

In addition, this jacket is designed for Thermax™, which means that you can insert a Thermax™ heated jacket like our Nucleo or Nuclea inside it.

Other distinctive elements developed internally are the Quick Access Puller™ that allows quick and easy access to the inner chest pocket. The Coat Hanger™ on the back is durable as it was developed to effectively support the weight of a motorcycle jacket.

At the bottom of the left arm we have inserted a card pocket in the outer cap to store an access card or other means of identification or payment to minimise the time lost at mandatory stops such as motorway toll booths.

Both shoulders and elbows are protected by our CE level 2 RISC™ protections. This jacket is also set up for numerous safety upgrades such as back and chest protectors, a high-visibility vest that does not interfere with the jacket and a Vision 2C LED light that is positioned on the upper back.
