Spring is coming, days are getting longer and temperatures are getting higher. Some people begin to plan holidays, others join the gym, some others do spring-cleaning… and then, there are motorcyclists. 

You can recognize them because, when the first ray of sun comes out, they run straight to their garages or to insurance offices, in order to be able to use their motorbikes, again. They all have a common purpose: no matter the destination, the important thing is to travel, having a fantastic journey and, above all, ride!

But, before leaving, there are few questions to deal with: what do you need to ride in Italy or in other European countries? New rules have been set in the last year? How can you be sure to not ruin the experience, just because you forgot the reflecting vest?

WHAT’S NECESSARY TO TRAVEL IN ITALY

Currently, above all the countries of EU, Italy is the one with fewer regulations. Some people consider this a good thing since fewer the rules, less the equipment on board required; but does your security cost less than 50€?

Exactly, 50€ is the medium cost for a travel kit in Europe. The most required objects are reflecting safety vest (from €15 to €40) and first-aid kit (from €18 to €30).

Waiting for more detailed future regulations, today to travel safety in Italy all you need to have is: a helmet to wear, the rules of the highway’s code very clear and Euros in you pockets (in the unfortunate case you’ll need to pay a fine, to the local postal office).
